Hilton Head Brochure
Assignment:
For my Intro to Graphic Design class, I was tasked with making a brochure for a destination and I instantly thought of Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. My family has gone to Hilton Head every spring since I was young and it’s a great vacation destination which made it my first choice for the project.
Hilton Head’s red lighthouse, blue skies, and turquoise waters were what inspired my color palette. Also, I found that by using the colored triangles, I could create repetition and unity across the brochure. For the text, I wanted to inform people about the island’s history, all the activities it has to offer, and the many places people can stay on it. In addition, I tried to show off the many different aspects of the island with the photos I included.
